In February 2015, a new customer centre of Heat Sales Department of the Karelskiy Branch of JSC TGC-1 started working.

On February 25, 2015, the power engineers with the Chief Administration of the Ministry of Emergencies in the Murmansk Oblast and the Government Commission on Prevention and Liquidation of Emergencies carried out a comprehensive training at the Upper Tulomskaya HPP of JSC TGC-1 on liquidation of natural and man-caused emergencies of an interregional or federal scale.

On 1 February 2015, Kandalaksha hosted the Cross-Country Skiing Cup of the TGC-1 Kolskiy Branch, the most popular skiing competition in the polar region. 230 athletes from nine cities and towns of Murmansk Oblast and Republic of Karelia participated in the first stage of the tournament.
