The Petrozavodskaya CHPP of JSC TGC-1 has launched an extensive project to modernise the heating pipeline network in the centre of Petrozavodsk along Anokhina Str. – from Neglinka to Lososinka.

OJSC TGC-1 releases its abbreviated interim unaudited consolidated Financial Statements for the 3 months period, ended March 31, 2014 prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

On 23 May, the Apatitskaya CHPP of TGC-1 celebrates its 55-th Anniversary. The power plant is the largest heat supply enterprise in the Murmansk Oblast and the only heat source of the cities Apatity and Kirovsk.

On May 20, 2014, the First National Conference on Development of Aquaculture in Russia was held in Murmansk. Over 130 representatives of the federal and local profile authorities, fisheries associations and unions, R&D institutions, Russian and international plants specialized in fish rearing for sale attended this conference.

On 15 May 2014, pursuant to an Order from the Petrozavodsk District Municipal Administration, the Petrozavodskaya CHPP, a strategic producer of heat energy and electricity for the capital of Karelia, switched to summer operational mode.

JSC TGC-1 released the results for the Company’s thermal power plants, which supplied heat to the residents, businesses and companies of St Petersburg and the Leningrad Oblast during the 2013-2014 autumn-winter period.

As part of the Victory Day celebrations, Karelian veterans and power engineers, and staff from JSC TGC-1 staged a flower-laying ceremony at an historical site that is new for Petrozavodsk.

On 6 May 2014, as a tribute to the heroism of the besieged inhabitants of Leningrad, representatives from the council of veterans and the youth activists council at JSC TGC-1 laid flowers at the Pulkovo Line memorial.

JSC TGC-1 is reporting its financial statements for the first 3 months of 2014, which have been compiled in accordance with the Russian Accounting Standards.
