On December 25, 2012, JSC TGC-1 held an Extraordinary General Meeting by postal ballots.

December 27, 2012 on Ostrovsky Square the traditional Day of Energy was held.

At Ostrovsky Square with the support of city Government, the consulates of foreign countries and the leading Russian and foreign companies opened St. Petersburg Christmas Fair. Traditionally the partner of the event which has long gained international format is TGC-1. This year the company supports a rink.

TGC-1 together with the publisher Contact-Culture released the album The Energy of Russia in posters. A unique collector's edition includes little-known works of poster art from the soviet electrification plan to the present. Part of the edition was donated to the National Library of Russia. The event was realized in the framework of the social program of TGC-1.

December, 14 teenagers from 10 regions of Russia and abroad visited Yuzhnaya CHP. 120 young athletes, who are brought up in broken homes, children's homes and boarding schools, participated in tournament of Alexei Stepanov memory that is part of program «Gazprom — to the children». Co-organizer of the event was the Military Sports Foundation in St. Petersburg. Tour to the most powerful CHP in Petersburg held with the assistance of charitable sector of JSC TGC-1.

December 7, 2012 as part of an extensive renovation at Iovskaya HPP the impeller of the first unit was dismantled.

TGC-1 releases its interim abbreviated unaudited consolidated Financial Statements for the 9 months period, ended September 30, 2012 prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Saint Petersburg hosted today celebrations devoted to commissioning of a new CCGT-450 combined cycle gas turbine unit at the Pravoberezhnaya CHPP.

Taking part in the events were Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, Georgy Poltavchenko, Governor of Saint Petersburg, Kirill Seleznev, Member of the Gazprom Management Committee, Denis Fyodorov, Director General of Gazprom Energoholding and Andrey Filippov, Director General of TGC-1.

November 19, 2012 on regular Board of Directors meeting the General Director of JSC TGC-1 Andrey Filippov reported the successful comprehensive testing of combined cycle gas turbine unit at Pravoberezhnaya CHP with power capacity of 450 megawatts.

November 7, 2012 in Apatity annual Thermal Energy Consumer Rating of JSC TGC-1 took place. The ceremony is held with the support of the regional and municipal authorities for the fourth time.
