Consolidated TGC-1 Group revenue for 3M 2022 increased by 11.9% year-on-year, up to RUB 36,379 mln. The revenue growth resulted from increased electricity spot prices and growing electricity and heat demand in the North-West region on the back of lower air temperature in 1Q 2022.

Group’s comparable operating expenses increased by 7.2%, up to RUB 28,753 mln year-on-year, mainly, on the account of growing fuel expenses, on the back of increased CHPs production.

Group’s operating profit increased to RUB 7,677 mln, up by 41.4%, EBITDA for the period amounted to RUB 10,882 mln (+31.0%). Profit for the period amounted to RUB 6,266 mln (+42.5%).

TGC-1's gross profit increased to RUB 7 billion 900.6 million. EBITDA amounted to RUB 10 billion 224.1 million. Net profit amounted to RUB 6 billion 711.8 million (+36.4%).

Electricity and heat sales growth resulted from lower air temperature during 2021 heating season, earlier heating season start in 2021, as well as electricity consumption revival on the back of partial restrictions cancellation for business activity.

Group’s comparable operating expenses increased by 20.9%, up to RUB 93,023 mln year-on-year, mainly, on the account of growing fuel expenses and energy purchases, on the back of increased production.

Group’s operating profit decreased to RUB 9,513 mln, EBITDA amounted to RUB 22,882 mln. Profit for the period amounted to RUB 7,114 mln.

Consolidated TGC-1 Group revenue for 6M 2021 increased by 16.2% year-on-year, up by RUB 7,648 mln. This resulted from growing electricity consumption, growing prices at liberalized sectors of the wholesale market, as well as weather factor. The revenue includes subsidies from St. Petersburg and Murmansk Oblast amounting to RUB 2,355 mln.

Group’s operating expenses increased by 17.6%, up by RUB 6,799 mln year-on-year, to 45,349 mln, mainly, on the account of growing fuel expenses and electricity and capacity purchases, on the back of increased production and exports.

Group’s comparable operating profit increased by RUB 1,076 mln (+12.7%) year-on-year.

EBITDA amounted to RUB 15,302 mln, up by 11.5% year-on-year, mostly on the account of growing operating profit.

Profit for the period amounted to RUB 7,698 mln, up by 14.0%.

The Company’s revenue amounted to RUB 52 billion 461.9 million, which is 16.7% higher than for the same period of 2020. The revenue grew on the account of increased revenue from heat sales (+16.8%), on the back of lower air temperature in the heating period, as well as increased revenue from electricity and capacity sales (+17.0%) on the back of demand increase for the Company capacity and prices at the liberalized sectors of thrwholesale electricity and capacity market, as well  as favorable price dynamics at Nord Pool, resulting in exports revenue growth.Production costs increased by 12.8% to RUB 43 billion 446.5 million on the account of growing production.

TGC-1's gross profit increased to RUB 9 billion 015.4 million. EBITDA amounted to RUB 13 billion 546.3 million. Net profit amounted to RUB 8 billion 053.7 million (+47.7%).

This resulted from growing demand for electricity and heat in the North-West, on the back of lower temperature during Q1 2021 year-on-year, as well as growing revenue from exports, resulting from favorable situation at Nord Pool market and growing DAM prices.

Group’s comparable operating expenses increased by 21.7%, up to RUB 26,815 mln, mainly, on the account of growing fuel expenses, on the back of growing production, as well as growing electricity and capacity purchases.

Group’s comparable operating profit increased marginally to RUB 5,429 mln, EBITDA amounted to RUB 8,308 mln (+3.5%). Profit for the period amounted to RUB 4,396 mln, up by 0.5%.

Production costs increased by 17.2% to RUB 25 billion 464.5 million on the account of growing production.

TGC-1's gross profit increased to RUB 6 billion 027.6 million. EBITDA amounted to RUB 7 billion 897.0 million. Net profit amounted to RUB 4 billion 921.2 million (+20.2%).

The revenue from electricity and heat sales decrease resulted from unusually warm weather during the heating season of 2020 and lower electricity consumption on the back of restrictions for businesses and organizations.

Group’s comparable operating expenses decreased by 10.1%, down to RUB 76,913 mln, on the account of lower fuel expenses and electricity and capacity purchases, on the back of lower production.

Group’s operating profit decreased to RUB 10,824 mln, EBITDA amounted to RUB 21,935 mln. Profit for the period amounted to RUB 8,253 mln, up by 3.3%. The profit dynamics was influenced, among other factors, by lower financial expenses.

As the demand for electricity in the North-West energy system declined, the company introduced certain measures to optimize its production activities.  High water content throughout 2020 in the regions of its operation, allowed the company to redistribute the load from CHPPs to HPPs since the latter possess more efficient energy-generating equipment. In this case, the electricity output by hydro power plants increased by 13.5%, and the comparable electricity output at TGC-1 at the combined heat and power plants of TGС-1 decreased by 11.7%.
