TGC-1 PJSC provided “green” power to the offices of Sberbank

Sberbank, the largest bank in Russia, purchased from TGC-1 PJSC more than 142,000 “green” certificates of I-REC international standard confirming that the power is produced from renewable sources. Environmentally safe power will be used for bank’s offices operation.

The power produced at hydropower plants of TGC-1 PJSC confirmed by I-REC “green” certificates helps companies to achieve the sustainable development goals aimed at higher prosperity and environmental improvement. Companies can also confirm that they conducted measures internally approved as a part of liabilities for sustainable development goals in the relevant section of the annual ESG reporting.

 TGC-1 PJSC has concluded “green” electric power sales transactions with Shchekinoazot, Siburenergomanagement, PhosAgro, Polyus, AB InBev Efes Brewery etc.

TGC-1 PJSC (part of Gazprom Energoholding Group) is the leading producer and supplier of electricity and heat power in the Northwest of Russia.
