В Санкт-Петербурге начались соревнования оперативного персонала ТЭС ПАО «ТГК-1»
From May 15 to 19, 2017, professional skills competitions among experts of heat power plants of TGC-1 will be held in St. Petersburg. Nine teams from St. Petersburg, Murmansk, the Republic of Karelia, the Leningrad and Murmansk Regions take part in the competition.
“The competitions are held annually. They help to reveal the level of professional skills of the employees and set the targets for the next professional trainings. Besides, they allow power specialists to demonstrate and improve their knowledge, adopt the best practices of the colleagues in terms of equipment operation,” said Viktoria Plotnikova, the Head of TGC-1 Training Centre.
The participants shall undergo eight stages: they will demonstrate knowledge of safety regulations and regulatory documentation, operation skills in relation to boiler-house, electric and chemical equipment, first aid skills and emergency response.
Power specialists will demonstrate their professional skills on virtual simulators and specially equipped ranges that maximally emulate real working conditions.
TGC-1 operating staff competitions are held annually in three categories: Hydroelectric Power Plants, Multiple-Unit Heat Power Plants and Cross-Connection Heat Power Plants.
The competitions are aiming to increase the personnel’s professional level, evaluate professional skills of operating staff, create a candidate pool, boost team spirit and build ties within the operating staff of power plants. The results of the competitions enable the management to assess the staff's professional level and find ways of optimising the work of the human resources department. The participants have an opportunity to solidify the knowledge and skills essential for their daily work and exchange experience with colleagues from various regions.
