In 2018, TGC-1 invested funds to the following environmental activities:
continuous renovation of the sewerage system, including installation of metering stations and construction of water treatment facilities is continued at Centralnaya CHPP (PP-2);
continuous renovation of the sewerage networks, installation of the unit for dehydration of the chemically treated water liquid residue, and construction of local wastewater treatment facilities at the outlet to the public header at Pravoberezhnaya CHPP;
R&D for the sewerage networks renovation, including construction of water treatment facilities at Vasileostrovskaya CHPP;
upgrade of the internal and external communication systems at Pervomayskaya CHPP in order to cease the water disposal into the water reservoir (R&D);
renovation of the sewerage networks, including stream flow separation and construction of water treatment facilities at the outlet to the water reservoir and the public header of Avtovskaya CHPP;
continuous activities on the environmental safety of fuel oil storage in railway tanks at Avtovskaya CHPP;
completion of the development of the environmental system of timely monitoring of petrochemicals in wastewater of Vyborgskaya CHPP, disposed in the water body (stage 1);
R&D for the wastewater disposal system renovation, including the construction of water treatment facilities at Petrozavodskaya CHPP.
