On December 31, 2014, the City Court of Petrozavodsk confirmed that the approval of the heat supply scheme of Petrozavodsk till 2029 drawn up by Saint-Petersburg State Polytechnic University and the granting of the Single Heat Supplier status to TGC-1 had been done in line with all the applicable procedures.

30 December 2014 marks the 60th anniversary since the date of putting the Vyborgskaya CHPP of JSC TGC-1 into operation.

The renovated fuel supply system was commissioned successfully at TGC-1’s Apatitskaya CHPP.

50 years ago, on 19 December 1964 the most powerful Verkhne-Tulomskaya HPP of JSC TGC-1 was launched in Murmansk Oblast.

On 16 December 2014, TGC-1’s specialists commissioned the hydro generating unit No.3 at the Hyameskoski HPP, the oldest HPP in Russia, equipped with original systems dating back to 1903. The vibration tests of the equipment have shown high quality of the overall repair which was completed on 12 December 2014.

On the day of the 60th anniversary of the Palyeozyorskaya HPP, which connects the river Suna and the lake Palye in the Kondopoga District, JSC TGC-1 and the All-Russian Electric Trade Union, a regional NGO, have organized a visit of Karelian energy industry veterans to the power plant.

On December 3, 2014 an opening of a loft project ETAGI exhibition took place displaying works of "Turn On Your Head " competition participants devoted to the energy efficiency and responsible resource consumption problem.

On December 3, 2014 the “Zone of Action” of Loft Project ETAGI will host an exhibition of works by the participants of the Animation and Graphic Art Contest “Turn On Your Head” regarding the energy efficiency and responsible resources consumption.
